The LUXORAu is designed for SEM sample preparation in applications requiring reliable imaging at magnifications of up to 50,000×, particularly for materials prone to surface charging. The system enables effective deposition of conductive coatings, supporting stable imaging conditions and improved image quality during SEM analysis.
The LUXORC is an automated carbon coating system developed for high-precision SEM sample preparation in chemical and elemental analysis. The instrument is suitable for use with floor-standing, benchtop, and high-resolution FE-SEM microscopes equipped with EDX/EDS detectors.
The system utilizes a Bradley-type carbon evaporation source to apply a uniform and controlled carbon layer, effectively minimizing sample charging. This ensures stable imaging conditions and reliable, reproducible results during elemental analysis workflows.
The LUXORPt is intended for advanced SEM imaging applications at magnifications above 50,000×, particularly when surface charging can compromise image quality. The system employs Luxor’s proprietary A² coating technology to deposit a highly uniform platinum layer, supporting stable imaging and high-resolution analysis.
The sputter coater is supplied as a complete system, including all required accessories and auxiliary components. When combined with the optional vacuum pump, LUXORPt operates as a fully independent sputter coating unit. A range of sample holders is available, accommodating standard pin stubs, cylindrical stubs, and resin-embedded samples.
